Holdfast is an exhibition of experiments and works in progress from Margate based artist Louise Frances Smith. Inspired by the Thanet coastline, Louise has been exploring the use of local materials in her work, deeping her connection to the landscape where she takes inspiration. The works in the exhibition invite viewers to take a closer look at our natural surroundings and the materials that come from them.
